WINDOWS TREATMENTS

CURTAINS:

We make best quality hand made lined and interlined curtains in a variety of heading styles including pinch pleated, pencil pleated, goblet headed, hand gathered, knife pleated and smocked.
Curtains can be lined in white or cream sateen / blackout lining, and be interlined in a variety of different qualities of bump interlining.
Curtains can be made for straight windows, bay windows, arched windows and double sided for archways / room dividers.

TIEBACKS or CURTAIN BANDS:

Crescent / straight or more ornate shapes, all in buckram covered in fabric as curtains or a contrast. Also plaited / ruched types. Alternatively brass tiebacks can be supplied and fitted.

TRACKS:

All types supplied and installed including Kirsch, Silent Gliss, net tracks / rods etc. Also motorised rails with or without remote control.

POLES:

All types including wood, brass and iron supplied and installed. Also corded and or motorised poles.

NETS or VOILES or SHEERS:

Made up & hung using one of our standard voiles (Tergal or Tergalin) or from our sheer pattern books or from something that you supply.

PELMETS:

Our range of pelmet designs is available to you to choose from, including flat designs such as scalloped, serpentine and castellated; pagoda pelmets; festoon pelmets; soft valances and many others. Alternatively we will work to your design.

DRAPERIES:

Swags and Tails, bells and flutes, many beautiful designs can be designed and made for all shapes of windows.

FESTOON BLINDS:

Permanently gathered and swagged even when fully down.

FLAT FESTOONS (BOX PLEATED):

Simple box pleated look which is swagged at the base as these are being raised.

PULL-UP CURTAINS (AUSTRIAN BLINDS):

Looks like an 'ordinary' curtain when fully down but is swagged from the base as it is being raised.

ROMAN BLINDS:

A flat rectangle of fabric with horizontal rods to keep fabric rigid.

Options:

• Fabric (lined) or sheer (unlined)
• Single loop chain pull or standard corded with brass/chrome cleat
• Contrast borders Motorised or dress type
• Lined / unlined / interlined / blackout etc
• Tuscan blinds - a softer effect - no stiffening rods.

ROLLER BLINDS:

In 'Holland' with or without your / our fabric laminated onto it, alternatively in your / our fabric which may be stiffened or plasticised.

VENETIAN BLINDS:

In many colours, in horizontal metal vanes of 50mm down to 16mm

WOODSLAT VENETIAN BLINDS:

In 50mm or 25mm flat horizontal timber vanes

SHUTTERS:

Timber static or movable shutters in openable frames, also 'Plantation Shutters'

Free standing or fitted furniture made to measure.

RE-UPHOLSTERY

Interior springing / padding repaired / replaced Frames tightened

RECOVERING FURNITURE

Old worn coverings removed then recovered with new fabric.

SQUABS

Window seat cushions made or recovered

SCATTER CUSHIONS

We will try to make any style you can think of.

BOLSTERS

Covers made and pads / interiors supplied in a variety of fillings, e.g.: feather, down, hair, plastic foam, latex foam etc.

Simple timber tables can be supplied painted or covered

WALLS & CEILINGS

WALLING (FABRIC ON WALLS)

Can be a variety of styles including plain, gathered or pleated.

Plain with inverted pleat corners, gathered, box pleated.

OTHER SERVICES

MAINTENANCE:

We can service existing curtain tracks and cording on a 6 monthly basis and keep all curtains in good working order and carry out any necessary repairs, arrange curtain cleaners etc. We would report to you of any items beyond economic repair.
